Professional profile
Monika Kolář is a university-qualified specialist in preventive and therapeutic nutrition. She received her professional qualification of the first degree (B.Sc.) at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno in the field of study “nutritional therapist”. She further specialized in the follow-up study of nutritional sciences with a focus on public health at the University of Vienna in Vienna.
As part of her diploma thesis, she participated in the EU-Interreg NutriAging project, which aims to improve the quality of nutrition for seniors in the border region of Austria and Slovakia. She investigated the effect of training and vitamin D supplementation on the expression of genes related to the preservation of muscle mass in old age. He is currently studying the principles of health coaching and a progressive, motivational approach to the client and his nutritional needs as a student of the Precision Nutrition Academy. Monika is a member of professional teams of projects and startups that are involved in the prevention and therapy of chronic diseases in the form of modern technologies and innovative behavioral approaches. He is engaged as an ambassador of nutritional sciences according to EBM principles on social networks via @zdravieavyzivaonline.
