Professional profile
Dr. Silvester Galo is a specialist in the field of gynecology and reproductive medicine with many years of clinical experience in this field. He studied general medicine at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin. After completing his studies, he worked as a secondary physician at the gynecology and obstetrics clinic of the University Hospital in Martin. While working at this workplace, he passed the specialization exam I. and II. degree in gynecology and obstetrics. At the same time, he defended his PhD in the field of diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. At this workplace, he focused on gynecological endoscopy, which is closely related to infertility, endometriosis, menstrual cycle disorders and chronic pain. Today, he successfully uses this clinical experience in reproductive medicine. For a short period he worked at the assisted reproduction clinic Snatórium Helios SK and then for more than 5 years he led the private reproduction center Iscare in Martin. He is currently the leading physician and expert guarantor at Gyn-Fiv Žilina, a prestigious assisted reproduction center.
Doctor Galo is a member of the Assisted Reproduction Section of the Slovak Gynecological and Obstetrical Society and the European Society for Reproductive Medicine. He actively participates in scientific professional conferences, where he is often an invited speaker.
