Professional profile
Dr. Peter Stachura is an experienced anesthesiologist, intensivist and palliative physician. He received his professional education and specialization in anesthesiology in Saxony, in the Federal Republic of Germany. Doctor of Medicine degree. in the field at the University of Bonn, Germany. He passed the specialization exam in the field of palliative medicine at the Bavarian Medical Chamber in Munich.
He started his professional career in the field of anesthesiology at the Levoča Hospital, then went to the German city of Goerlitz, where he worked as a secondary doctor until obtaining certification in anesthesiology. As a specialist anesthesiologist, he continued to work in the German city of Bayreuth, in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. During this period, he also completed his studies in health management at the University of Bayreuth and subsequently subspecialized in intensive care medicine. He worked for two years at the University Clinic of Palliative Medicine in Erlangen, Germany. He worked in the Bayreuth-Kulmbach mobile hospice for more than half a year. He currently works as an Oberarzt at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at the University Hospital of St. Poelten. In Austria, he also received a diploma for performing activities in special pain therapy.
Doctor Peter Stachura is a member of the Slovak Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine and the Austrian Anesthesiology Professional Society ÖGARI.
