Description

Professional profile

Doctor Boris Vidinský is an experienced anesthesiologist with many years of experience in the field of anesthesiology, cardioanesthesiology, transesophageal echoradiography, intensive and emergency medicine and antibiotic therapy. He studied medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Košice, graduating with honors from the rector. After finishing his studies, he started working at the respiratory diseases clinic of the university hospital in Košice, from where he later went to the Federal Republic of Germany, where he worked at several workplaces as an anesthesiologist. Here he gradually gained experience and professional specializations in the field of anesthesiology, intensive care medicine and activities within anesthesiological cardiology.
Doctor Vidinský is an expert in a wide range of perioperative patient care. He perceives anesthesiology as the so-called perioperative management, where the emphasis is on adequate preparation of the patient before the operation, optimization of the physical and psychological state before the operation, risk stratification in complex operations, deployment of regional anesthesia within the “fast track” concept. As part of his experience at one of the largest cardiovascular clinics in Germany, he developed into a leading specialist in deciding on an individual and optimal method of cardiovascular intervention for patients, that is, evaluating the benefits and risks of open cardiac surgery compared to the options of minimally invasive methods. The range of expertise in the perioperative management of cardiac surgery patients ranges from cardiac bypass operations, through complex reconstructions of heart valves, aorta, and up to the evaluation of perioperative management for the implantation of an artificial heart (LVAD). Based on his expertise in the antibiotic therapy of inflammation of heart valves and infectious complications in the framework of cardiosurgical intensive care and complex orthopedic operations, Dr. Vidinský has extensive experience in the management of complicated postoperative infectious conditions and the setting of optimal antibiotic therapy for patients.
Doctor Vidinský completed many foreign internships and study stays at prestigious workplaces. He is a member of several professional societies and actively presents his clinical experience at scientific events, where he is an invited speaker and at the same time publishes this knowledge in prestigious foreign journals.
